14 artists (the top two selected from each venue) will compete at the Showcase round, held at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center. Winners from this event will move on to the final round of the Tennessee Songwriters Week competition at the historic Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.

About the event
Tennessee Songwriters Week, celebrated the last full week of February, supports music venues, supports songwriters with live performances, drives visitation, and inspires travelers to experience the state's music stories, history, attractions and venues.
The competition is heating up! During the first week of February, artists at seven different Chattanooga venues competed in the Tennessee Songwriters Week qualifying rounds.
On Thursday, February 27th, fourteen artists (the top two selected from each venue) will compete at the Showcase round, held at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center. Winners from this event will move on to the final round of the Tennessee Songwriters Week competition at the historic Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.
